Come and hear about the Ins and Outs of Personal Tax from the team at JMH & Co. Join the JMH team for a FREE information session where JMH will go through various individual personal tax items that you should know about including:


• Personal tax slips you may receive in the mail – It’s not junk mail!
• Common tax deductions that you may not be aware of – Saves you money!
• Home-based businesses & self-employed entrepreneurs – Some good 'did you know' info.
• What should you expect?
Drop in for just under an hour for:
• 30-minute presentation from the JMH Team (they are an entertaining bunch).
• 20 minutes for questions and getting to know the JMH & Co. team a little more!

Board Leadership Training

The return of the fourth-annual Board Leadership Training Event is taking place in Medicine Hat on Saturday, March 3, 2018! This training opportunity is a one-day event for Board members (and potential Board members) in Medicine Hat and Southeast Alberta to participate in engaging and informative workshops on various topics related to basic board governance and leadership. 
With 12 topics to choose from, you can pick from sessions back by popular demand as well as three new topic areas.

Medicine Hat College De-Mystifies Post Secondary Education
Thinking about going back to college? Maybe you need to upgrade a work-related skill like project management or social media engagement? Then plan to be at the Medicine Hat College Brooks Campus Thursday Feb 15th at 5pm for their free budgeting workshop.

The good folks at the college will have information about government funding, grants and other sources of support you might be able to tap into. They will have advice on manageing a budget while you are back at school and the downlow on the real cost of residence and course materials.

Notice of Special Meeting
There will be a Special Meeting of the Brooks and District Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, March 1st, 2018 in Bassano. The meeting will commence at 7pm for the purposes of expanding our trade boundaries to include the Town of Bassano. Details on the venue or the motion itself can be obtained by calling the Chamber office.
